Ceylon Tea Trails is the first Relais & Chateaux resort in Sri Lanka, perched at 1250 metres
in the UNESCO Central Highlands. The resort comprises five restored colonial-era tea planters’ bungalows,
each offering exquisite period furnishings, butler service, and gourmet cuisine.
Bungalows vary from 4 to 6 rooms, totaling 27 rooms, and can be booked individually or as a complete
bungalow for group stays. Each bungalow is unique — from lakeside Castlereagh, Summerville & Dunkeld,
to Norwood with panoramic views and Tientsin, the most traditional colonial style.
Rates are fully inclusive, covering gourmet meals, wines, spirits, laundry, Wi-Fi, and the signature
“Tea Experience” including tea fields and factory tours with the Tea Planter in Residence. A minimum
two-night stay is requested to fully enjoy the offerings of this luxury retreat.
